She begins studying the violin at the age of five, at six she enters the Conservatory Verdi of Milan, at twelve she debuts at the prestigious Teatro Delle Erbe performing Paganini. Since then, she plays with great success of public and critics alike through Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, Romania, Hungary, Canada, for several tours Japan, USA, Africa, Russia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.  She performs also for major Radios and Television all over the world.

Cultivating also great symphonic and Chamber Orchestral Repertoire, she plays with great conductors and soloists, Maazel, Muti, Dindo, Kugel, Belkin, Fischer, Lonquich.. in halls as the Tchaikovsky Hall Moscow, Suntory Hall Tokyo, Lincoln Center New York, Coliseum Buenos Aires, Auditorium de Barcelona, Performing Arts Beijing etc.. She makes several recordings, with orchestra, with piano, with guitar and in chamber group. Since 2006 Anna Minella is Violin Professor, too, teaching at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi of Milan, after being Violin Professor at the conservatories of Bari, Brescia and Reggio Emilia, where she was also responsible for the String Department Orchestra. From 2015 she is invited to collaborate to the Accademia Vivaldi Foundation, Switzerland, and look after the String department in seminaries throughout the year. Her students constantly receive great results in violin competitions and get scholarships.

Anna Minella founded the “440”Musical Association, devoted to promove music for all, in a National project to make youths of the metropolitan neighborhoods able to practice and play a musical instruments so to move up in the dignity of Art. Anna got Superior Diploma with special prize at Verdi Conservatory Turin, Konzertdiplom at the Hochschule für Musik Luzern, class Prof. Carmignola, Master Performer Degree as a student of Boris Belkin at Maastricht Univeristy after four years practicing in his class. She gets scholarships also at the Accademia Chigiana, with both professors, and Manhattan School Masterclasses under Isaac Malkin. In parallel to the violin, Anna got Classical Matura at the Liceo Classico Berchet in Milan with the higest Marks, Bachelor and Master Degree at Maastricht University with 180/180, and has sung for nine years at the Teatro Alla Scala, Milan, white voices choir, performing at La Scala Theatre under Ozawa, Abbado, Gavazzeni, Sinopoli and others.
